The Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Cranbrook, British Columbia is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Assistant Front Office Manager. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a team that values exceptional customer service and seamless operations.
About the Role:
- Provide administrative support to the Front Office Manager and other departments, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration
- Assist in managing office operations, including inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events with ease, utilizing your strong organizational skills
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency, addressing any concerns promptly
- Prepare and manage correspondence, documents, and other materials as required
- Support the implementation of hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and excellence
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or administrative role in the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, with experience in data entry and record-keeping
- A proactive approach to tasks, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations
