About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Cabinet Arts Ltd. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden furniture and cabinets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
Work Environment

As a Cabinetmaker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Accurate and organized
