Cabinet Arts Ltd is a dynamic company seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces that meet our customers' expectations.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetmaking, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
- Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- Estimate costs and materials
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of skilled craftsmen and women. The work will involve standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is required.
