Job Title: Tile Setter

Aworks Tiling LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, repairing, and applying a layer of adhesive.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a level and even surface.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work environment is on the road.
