About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Barakah Inc. as a Head Cook. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards, and that food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns, and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
