Lifemark is seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will work with clients who have experienced psychological concerns related to injury and trauma, psychosocial factors in recovery, functional improvement, disability management, and return-to-work planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in team conferences to discuss clients' treatment plans and goals, progress made to date, and any barriers to treatment.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide insights and strategies from a psychosocial perspective to enhance the broader treatment approach.
  • Provide psychological case management input and direction to interdisciplinary team members in regards to client progress, psycho-social barriers, conflict resolution, and discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Possess full registration with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) or be a regulated mental health professional qualified in psychotherapy (OT, MSW, Nurse).
  • Master's Degree in psychology, counselling, or a directly related domain.
  • 2+ years of experience as a fully registered psychotherapist (or OT, MSW, Nurse).
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatment for trauma, such as CPT, EMDR, and PE.
  • Experience implementing CBT models for MVA, WSIB, and/or Chronic Pain patients.
  • Excellent report writing skills and experience preparing assessment, progress, and discharge reports.
  • Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team and with challenging client groups with complex impairments.
