Job Summary

The Accounting Coordinator/Technician position at Part Time CFO Services will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting and operational tasks to ensure the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry of payroll information and maintenance of accounts payable listings.
  • Reconciliation of accounts payable to the General Ledger.
  • Data entry of logistics information and preparation of weekly invoices.
  • Verification of transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Creation and distribution of financial and operational reports.
  • Resolution of discrepancies on contractor invoices.
  • Preparation and remittance of source deductions and payroll tax.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Financial Analyst.
Requirements
  • Business Diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
  • High level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
  • Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient computer and Excel skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company.
Technical Competencies
  • Proficiency in computerized accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
  • Email and calendar management at a highly proficient level.
