About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lead Nurse Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of high-quality patient care services.

Job Summary
The Clinical Lead Nurse Specialist is responsible for leading and coordinating clinical practice in a designated specialty area within Fraser Health. This includes providing expert consultation, leadership, and guidance to nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and contributing to the education and research activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to nurses and other healthcare professionals on complex clinical cases and best practices in the specialty area
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes
- Lead and coordinate clinical practice in the specialty area, including mentoring and supervising nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in education and research activities, including presenting research findings and disseminating best practices to colleagues and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards of care in the specialty area

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Nursing and at least 5 years of recent related nursing experience, with 3 years of experience in a clinical area relevant to the specialty. You must also have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex information and make sound judgments. You will also have expertise in developing and implementing programs in your area of clinical practice, as well as the ability to conceptualize research questions and collaborate with researchers to conduct research.

Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
