The District School Board of Niagara is seeking a highly skilled Casual Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing direct social work services in Elementary and Secondary schools or alternate programs.

If you possess a Master's Degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) and registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (R.S.W.), we encourage you to apply.
This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to consult with schools on various issues such as behavioural management, social-emotional issues, and anger management. You will also be responsible for mediation, advocacy, and problem-solving with Principals and families, as well as assessing safety risk and developing support plans.
In addition, we require the successful applicant to have:
- Minimum 5 years related experience in a community or educational setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using technology to communicate and coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
