Royal Bank of Canada is a leading financial institution seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Portfolio Specialist to join its team. As a key member of our Personal and Commercial Banking division, you will be responsible for creating custom investment solutions for clients, leveraging our extensive array of investment and portfolio options.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary of $70,000 per annum, with the potential for commissions and bonuses based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Providing personalized financial planning advice and solutions to clients using our proprietary and select third-party mutual fund solutions.
- Acquiring and consolidating existing and new clients and assets.
- Collaborating with internal partners to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Developing external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and relationships with centers of influence.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Financial Planning Designation (QAFP, PFP, or CFP).
- A Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning.
- Proven skills in networking and client acquisition.
- The ability to cultivate strong partner relationships.
- Digital savviness and proficiency in mobile applications.
