Carpentry Supervisor Position

About the Role:
Portfolio Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our team. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of our carpentry team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry team members
- Prepare production and other reports
- Estimate costs and materials
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Train or arrange for training
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities
- Set up equipment
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Supervise workers and projects
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
