**Job Summary**

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide professional registered nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Take a leadership role within the healthcare team, coordinating patient care and discharge to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of nursing.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying current with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

**Requirements**

  • Recent acute medical nursing experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), is preferred.
  • Successful completion of the Oncology course, as scheduled by the employer or mutually agreed upon between the nurse and employer, is required.

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
