Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current CRNM registration.
  • Active participation in professional associations.
  • Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration.
  • SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULED and COMPLETION OF the Advanced Assessment Course.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year recent acute medicine, cardiology or surgical nursing experience.
  • Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
