Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate driver logbook.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and undergo regular driving record checks.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Various locations.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
