Job Summary

Santhiya Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
