About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SRR TRANSPORT. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication throughout the transportation process.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

Working Conditions
