- Develop Knowledge of Control Systems: Develop knowledge of basic control systems and configurable operator error proofing systems.
- Procure Project Materials: Utilize RTP Next for procurement of project materials.
- Participate in Weekend and Shutdown Work Planning Meetings: Participate in weekend and shutdown work planning meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Review Safety Significant Events: Review safety significant events and safety messages and shift notes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Compliance Training: Complete compliance training on Hot Work, Confined Space, First Aid CPR, Rigging, and Electrical Safe Work Practices.
- Identify Waste Reduction Opportunities: Identify ways to eliminate waste in the areas of quality, scrap, uptime, and energy.
- Support Global Manufacturing System Standards: Support Global Manufacturing System standards including Maintenance Level 4/5 Board, Business Plan Deployment, and Workplace Organization.
- Report Near Misses: Report near misses to ensure a safe working environment.
- Design and Implement Equipment and Tools: Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch, and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high-quality parts.
- Study Time, Motion, Methods, and Speed: Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Verify Quality Assurance Specifications: Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Plan Work Assignments: Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
- Prepare Charts and Diagrams: Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Creativity, Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Possess creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Team Player and Detail Oriented: Be a team player and detail-oriented with the ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
- Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Previous Experience with Computer Applications: Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 2-4 Years of Experience: 2-4 years of experience required.
