As a District Sales Executive, you will be responsible for securing new customer revenue for our district office and Expeditors network. You will work closely with local and regional teams to orchestrate customer relationships and collaborate on sales initiatives.

Job Description

The focus of this role is on achieving results aligned with our overall organization and strategic goals. Initiative, competitive drive, and ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions are key to success in this position. You will be responsible for managing an assigned territory, demonstrating extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors, and timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool.

Key deliverables include:

  • Manage an assigned territory (Manitoba) and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
  • Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Orchestrate customer/branch relationships and collaborate with local and regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources.
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.
  • Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
  • Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with oral and written proficiency in English, strong rapport and relationship-building focus, and previous sales experience in 3PL, manufacturing, mining, or agriculture industries.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits. The estimated annual salary range is based on industry standards and market research.
