Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate food service staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Standing for extended periods and walking required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Language:
  • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
Work Hours:
  • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
