Express Lube Automotive Service Opportunity
Zanchin Automotive Group, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced Express Lube Automotive Service Professional to join our team. As part of our Express Lube team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
About the Opportunity:
- Perform express vehicle maintenance, including replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid.
- Determine the cause of any defects and complete approved repairs.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor and/or Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle, and/or of any additional required repair or maintenance, and/or if the repair cannot be completed within the prescribed time frame.
- Document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order.
- Road test vehicles, as required.
- Participate in all manufacturer and Company training programs; attend school and events sponsored by the manufacturer with approval from Management.
- Keep up-to-date on the manufacturer's technical bulletins.
About You:
- Strong background and proven experience in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a lube service technician.
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written).
- Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic.
- Ability to maintain professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution.
