Main Responsibilities

As a Surveillance Operator with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our casino operations. Your primary focus will be on risk mitigation, monitoring cash transactions, and protecting casino and guest property, assets, and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and record daily operations in all areas of the casino and property.
  • Keep complete written and visual records of your observations.
  • Maintain knowledge of all casino policies and procedures to enable detection of irregularities.
  • Ensure smooth communication flows between Surveillance and other departments.
  • Perform other tasks as required to protect the integrity of the casino's operations and assets.

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position, subject to post-incident and reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing. You will be required to work in a high sensory environment, which may include exposure to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Grade 12 or GED diploma or a combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.
  • Experience providing customer service and working with diverse situations and personalities.
  • Previous gaming or surveillance experience is an asset.
