The Role: Senior Mortgage Operations Manager

This key position involves managing a growing team of Mortgage Advisors, working closely with every department at Pine, and reporting to the Group Lead, Mortgage Division. You'll build an outstanding advisory practice, drive originations, and scale our mortgage operations.

You'll work hands-on with advisors, coaching and supporting them to enhance services, reach targets, and improve performance. In this dynamic environment, you'll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, contributing to internal practices and expanding product offerings.

About the Team

As Senior Mortgage Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with Pine's leadership team to bring your work to life. You'll create an amazing advisory practice, increase originations, and scale mortgage operations by working closely with our team of professional advisors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage our team of Mortgage Advisors who provide exceptional client support.
  • Cultivate a culture prioritizing accuracy, efficiency, and promptness in handling financial transactions.
  • Monitor daily functions to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Act as subject matter expert, collaborating with managers and teams on initiatives relevant to mortgage operations.
  • Continuously observe advisor performance, optimize team efficiency, and provide training, support, and guidance as needed.
  • Measure, evaluate, and report on the performance of Pine's operations, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and document processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and smooth execution of operations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the mortgage industry.
  • 2+ years of proven management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial services environment, preferably within mortgage operations.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and technical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-driven, able to work autonomously without daily supervision.
  • Proven adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum
