Job Title: Geriatric Nursing Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Sienna Senior Living.

About the Role:
  • This is a critical role within our communities, impacting the lives of residents and fostering human connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Physician and in accordance with College of Nurses of Ontario's Medication Administration Standards.
  • Document and follow up on all concerns and complaints forwarded by clients, families, or team members, and inform or seek assistance from the Registered Nurse or designate.
  • Promote clients' self-care and self-sufficiency, emphasizing adaptation and abilities, promoting wellness, and providing preventative health education, treating the whole person.
  • Complete required assessments, RAPS, and care plans within timeframes as required.
  • Support unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training, and education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
  • Current Medication Administration Certificate.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare, and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
