Geriatric Care Specialist

The TEEMA Group is seeking a dedicated Geriatric Care Specialist to provide exceptional support in the care of geriatric residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Operate and assist with medical equipment, such as geri-chairs, wheelchairs, and oxygen regulators.
- Monitor residents' physical and mental status, take vital signs, and manage specimens.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, documenting and responding to requests and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident areas, change bedding, and handle linens and medical supplies.
- Support nursing staff with medical procedures and post-surgical care while following universal precautions.
- Current CNA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Newly Licensed individuals welcome
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
