At Harman Elite Construction Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that every surface is expertly prepared, painted, and finished to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and finishing, with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills and attention to detail. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Mixing Paint: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account factors such as lighting, color theory, and material properties.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Estimating Costs: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring that budgets are met and exceeded.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Assist newcomers and refugees with immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations, promoting diversity and inclusivity.
  • Provide awareness training to employees, creating a welcoming work environment for youth and visible minorities.
