Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled painter to join our team at Moose Painting Ltd. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Repair cracks and holes.
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
  • Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimate costs and materials.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Work Environment:

  • Moose Painting Ltd.
  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
