We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Almarwa Halal Meat Brampton.
Job SummaryThe Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized food counter, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized food counter, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and storing supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, and packaging take-out food.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and work under pressure.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
