We are seeking an experienced NSWOC (Wound, Ostomy & Continence) nurse to join our team at Interior Health Authority as a Casual Clinical Practice Consultant. This role is located at Kelowna General Hospital and will involve providing consultation specialist service to reduce length of stay and promote healing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion, guide and lead the delivery of a comprehensive Wound, Ostomy & Continence program for clients.
  • Collaborate with other Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) to promote the delivery of quality client care.
  • Provide clinical consultation and expertise, education and direction based on a specialized body of knowledge to interdisciplinary team members.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of program policies and procedures, education programs for staff and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence based 'best practices'.
