Job Title: Clinical Practice Consultant

Job Summary:
Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced NSWOC (Wound, Ostomy & Continence) nurse to work as a Clinical Practice Consultant. The successful candidate will provide consultation specialist service to reduce length of stay and promote healing in Kelowna General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion, guide and lead the delivery of comprehensive Wound, Ostomy & Continence program for clients.
- Collaborate with other Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) to promote quality client care.
- Evaluate current wound, ostomy & continence standards and facilitate the development and implementation of program policies and procedures, education programs for staff and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence-based 'best practices.'
