About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Room Attendant at Prestige Kamloops Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on hotel facilities.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
