Job Title: Room Attendant

Prestige Kamloops Hotel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, seasonal employment, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language proficiency.
