Travel Nurse Position

The Registered Nurse will be a valued member of the CHCA team, providing culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families in remote, isolated or semi-isolated areas across Northern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver primary care and public health services through a set of integrated and accessible healthcare services.
- Work collaboratively with community members to identify health priorities while addressing and promoting community healthcare prevention.
- 3000 hours of clinical experience acquired within the last 3 years.
- Experience related to performing complex activities in a wide variety of situations in either of the following areas: Primary/Acute/Intensive care, Urgent/Emergency care or Community health (public health and home and community care).
- Recognized Canadian Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Valid CNO license for Ontario in good standing.
- Having an up-to-date certification in the following areas: Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers issued by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
