Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish rapport with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Support student development through play-based activities and universal strategies
  • Collaborate with other therapists and specialists to provide comprehensive support
  • Assess and provide therapeutic programming based on referral
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for students

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Registration with Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Eligibility for certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC)
  • Experience working in an educational setting preferred
