Accounting Specialist Job Description

HNM Tax & Accounting Inc. is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and post journal entries.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as tax returns and trial balances.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
