Accounting Specialist Job Description

Hallmark Facility Services Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to management and staff
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience in accounting and financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
