Job Title: Youth Clinician - Mental Health & Substance Use Specialist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Youth Clinician to join our team in North Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Clinician to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and individual, group, and family counseling services to children, youth, and families. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for youth with substance misuse issues and mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and individual, group, and family counseling services to children, youth, and families.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for youth with substance misuse issues and mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues, school personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, develop linkages with other facilities, agencies, and support groups, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Behavioural Sciences or Social Work.
  • Three (3) years' recent, related experience providing counseling services, including two (2) years' providing professional services to youth with mental health and substance use.
  • Valid BC Drivers License.
