Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Mental Health Clinician with a Master's degree in an Allied Health Discipline to join the Child & Adolescent Response Team (CART) in Vancouver, BC.
The CART team provides urgent response and short-term mental health services to school-aged children and youth experiencing acute psychiatric or emotional crises.
As a Mental Health Clinician with Vancouver Child & Youth Mental Health, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments, coordinate client care, and provide treatment services for children and youth with severe mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide behavioral interventions, family sessions, and individual child counseling
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community resources
Qualifications
- Master's degree in an Allied Health Discipline
- Three years' recent experience working with child and youth in a mental health setting
- Valid BC Driver's License
