Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Rakesh Majithia CPA Professional Corporation. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, and training staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Examination: Develop financial plans for clients, prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, and analyze financial documents and reports.
  • Accounting Systems: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise staff, train staff, and arrange training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a private company or corporation.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks, MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Windows. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certifications: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
