We are seeking a motivated and experienced part-time High School Math Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning North Bay. As a Teacher-Tutor, you will play a key role in helping students develop their math skills and build their confidence in the subject.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach math to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, and vectors
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
