Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at La Baguette. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory and reduce waste
  • Package take-out food and prepare simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customer orders and use manual and electrical appliances to prepare food to order
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking and service
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at La Baguette, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
