Job Summary

Southside Market is seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Restock supplies, including food, beverages, and paper products.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Counter Attendant at Southside Market, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
