At Fraserway Prekast Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our project managers and engineers to ensure that our estimates are accurate and meet the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
