Job Opportunity:

At RBC Dominion Securities Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Branch Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process all branch cash transactions, including cheques, bank wires, and physical securities with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Prepare, review, and distribute branch and cage reports as assigned.
  3. Manage the filing of all branch operations-related reports and documents in accordance with internal controls.
  4. Assist with account opening approvals, including reviewing documentation and scanning forms into the documentation workflow system.
  5. Provide exceptional client service by answering phones and greeting clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  6. Support the branch management team with administrative functions, including order management of office supplies and boardroom scheduling.
  7. Assist with special branch projects and initiatives as assigned.
  8. Coordinate with advisors and branch staff to plan and execute client events.
  9. Learn the administration aspects of the associate role at a basic level.
Requirements:
  • Strong skills working with business applications and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
