About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer to lead our Cyber Risk Management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-wide information security oversight and challenge approach.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide expert guidance on information security risk management principles, processes, and deliverables to business users and IT teams.
  • Lead the Cyber Risk Management team, overseeing staffing decisions, risk commitments, and short-term planning.
  • Foster a talent pipeline, devising training paths and development plans to ensure staff skills meet current and anticipated demand.
  • Manage the team budget and spending, promoting a strong information risk management culture.
  • Stay abreast of new regulations, laws, and requirements, ensuring compliance and proper training.
  • Collaborate with global information risk teams to ensure uniform processes and compliance with Global Information Risk Management policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in information security management within a large enterprise.
  • Expertise in best practices of information risk management and prior experience as a leader in Information Risk.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to distill technical information for non-technologists.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments in Canada and the US.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $171,200 - $317,700 CAD, depending on local market conditions and relevant job-related factors.
