About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Scale Operator to join our team at Eagle Tech Recycling Ltd. as a Material Handling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed and Unload Production Machinery: Safely feed and unload production machinery and equipment to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Monitor Chemical Formulation Units: Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units to ensure accurate and safe production processes.
  • Clean and Maintain Work Space: Clean and maintain the work space, including chemical processing machines and equipment, to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Measure and Load Chemical Ingredients: Measure, weigh, and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards to ensure accurate and safe production processes.
  • Move and Sort Materials: Move, sort, and pile materials and products to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Record Production Information: Record production information, including production levels and any issues that may arise, to ensure accurate and safe production processes.
  • Start Up, Shut Down, and Troubleshoot Equipment: Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal production levels and prevent equipment damage.
  • Assist in Operation, Repair, and Maintenance: Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal production levels and prevent equipment damage.
  • Take Samples: Take samples of products and materials to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform General Labouring Duties: Perform general labouring duties, including operating equipment from a control room or from control consoles located near the production units.
  • Operate Forklift: Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the production area.
  • Adjust Processing Machines: Adjust processing machines and equipment to ensure optimal production levels and prevent equipment damage.
  • Monitor Reaction Processes: Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
