At AFD Petroleum, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fuel Industry Training Specialist

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in a senior driver role with expertise in fuel handling and transportation. Refinery badges and driver training experience are highly valued. Simulator training experience is also an asset.

Job Description

As our Fuel Industry Training Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for new drivers and experienced personnel.
  • Conducting behind-the-wheel training and evaluation of drivers to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in fuel handling and transportation.
  • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of training programs into daily operations.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to drivers to enhance their skills and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Class 1 License (required).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 5 years' experience in a senior driver role (required).
  • Fuel experience/CFA required.
  • Refinery badges preferred.
  • Driver Training Experience.
  • Simulator training experience is an asset.
