We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Consultant to join our team at the Child Development Institute (CDI). As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health treatment to children and families.
About Us
The CDI is a multiservice organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children, youth, and their families. With over 100 years of experience in providing social, emotional, and behavioral counselling services, we are recognized as a leader and model for measurement-based impact. Our client-centred, family-centred, and data-informed approach sets us apart in the field.
The Role
This part-time position requires a registered professional with a passion for providing quality care to young children and families. You will supervise assigned clinicians, oversee caseloads, and work closely with the Clinical Managers team to ensure exceptional research-based clinical services are delivered. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising assigned clinicians to ensure adherence to manuals and processes;
- Managing a caseload for children under 12 and their families;
- Collaborating with the Clinical Managers team for overall coordination of clinical services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related clinical discipline from an accredited educational institution;
- Clinical experience in the children's mental health sector, working with children and youth, families, and groups;
- Ability to engage with children and parents of all ages and backgrounds with sensitivity, empathy, tact, and diplomacy;
- A strong understanding of trauma cases, particularly with children under 12.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
