Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at MTF Residential & Treatment Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children and youth in our care.

Job Summary:

The Child and Youth Worker will be responsible for providing individual and group support to children and youth, including life skills training, counseling, and advocacy. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each child and youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to children and youth, including life skills training, counseling, and advocacy.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each child and youth.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of children and youth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources to ensure access to services and support.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care, education).
  • Experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting.
  • Knowledge of child and youth development principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
