Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at MTF Residential & Treatment Services. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and youth in our residential programs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide guidance and support, and facilitate life skills training and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to children and youth in our residential programs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with our team
  • Facilitate life skills training and education to promote independence and self-sufficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to children and youth in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children and youth
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care, education)
  • Experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
