We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Supervisor to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they are knowledgeable about our products and services.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell merchandise and promote our products to customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our shelves are always fully stocked.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Organize day-to-day business operations and ensure that our store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that our products meet our high standards.
As a Department Supervisor at T&T Supermarket Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to work under pressure and make quick decisions to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
Requirements- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
